सावित्री देवी को मिला "रुद्र गौरव सम्मान 2018"

हो, साथ ही पूरे वैश्विक परिवेश में जलवायु परिवर्तन और पर्यावरण को लेकर चिंता जताई जा रही हो,

तो सामाजिक बुराइयों और अंधविश्वासी धारणाओं को मात देकर, पर्यावरण संरक्षण कर समाज को संदेश देने वाली सावित्री देवी जैसी महिलाओं द्वारा किये गए सामाजिक बदलावों एवं कार्यों का उल्लेख करना जरूरी है।

   श्रीमती सावित्री देवी उत्तराखंड राज्य के जनपद रुद्रप्रयाग में तल्लानागपुर क्षेत्रान्तर्गत ग्राम क्वीली की निवासी हैं। व्यवहार में सौम्यता और कंठ में मीठी वाणी धारण किए, हर वक्त चेहरे पर मुस्कान लेकर चलना ही इनका विस्तृत परिचय है।

   कहते हैं कि जो सत्य के मार्ग पर चलता है उसकी राह में अनेक बाधाएं आती हैं लेकिन अंततः जीत उसी की होती है। कुछ ऐसी ही बाधाएं सावित्री देवी की राह में भी आन पड़ी, जब उन्होंने यह निश्चय किया कि उन्हें पीपल का पेड़ अपने गांव के जंगल में लगाना है। तब उन्होंने सोचा भी नहीं होगा कि पीपल का पेड़ लगाना उनकी सामाजिक प्रतिष्ठा को मंहगा साबित होगा और समाज में उनके लिए अनेक बातें बोली जाएंगी। चूंकि श्रीमती सावित्री देवी सर्वसम्पन्न परिवार से थी और दो होनहार बच्चों की माँ थीं, इसलिए इस सामाजिक कुरीति; कि "जिनके बच्चे होते हैं वो पीपल नहीं लगाते अर्थात जो पुत्रविहीन होते हैं उन्हीं को पीपल का वृक्ष लगाना शोभा देता है" के कारण समाज ने उन्हें और उनकी कार्यनैतिकता पर प्रश्न चिह्न लगा दिए। मन से दृढ़निश्चयी सावित्री ने आस-पड़ोस के लोगों और समाज की बातों से हार न मानते हुए बड़े-बुजुर्गों की शरण ली। लेकिन बड़े-बुजुर्गों में यह अंधविश्वास कूट-कूट कर भरा हुआ था कि 'पीपल वही लगाता है जो पुत्रविहीन होता है।' अंततः उन्होंने युवाओं और नवचेतना का संचार करने वाले लोगों के समक्ष अपनी व्यथा रखी। युवा तो होते ही परिवर्तनवादी हैं। युवाओं ने न सिर्फ सावित्री देवी को इस पुनीत कार्य को करने के लिए प्रोत्साहित किया बल्कि इस कार्य में उनका सहयोग भी किया। 

पीपल का वृक्ष

   भारतीय संस्कृति में पीपल को देववृक्ष की संज्ञा दी गई है। इसके सात्विक प्रभाव के स्पर्श से अन्त: चेतना पुलकित और प्रफुल्लित होती है। स्कन्दपुराण में वर्णित है कि पीपल के मूल में विष्णु, तने में केशव, शाखाओं में नारायण, पत्तों में श्रीहरि और फलों में सभी देवताओं के साथ अच्युत सदैव निवास करते हैं। पीपल भगवान विष्णु का जीवन्त और पूर्णत: मूर्तिमान स्वरूप है। भगवान कृष्ण अपने उपदेश में कहते हैं कि समस्त वृक्षों में मैं पीपल का वृक्ष हूँ। स्वयं भगवान ने अपनी उपमा पीपल को देकर उसके देवत्व और दिव्यत्व को व्यक्त किया है। शास्त्रों में वर्णित है कि पीपल की सविधि पूजा-अर्चना करने से सम्पूर्ण देवता स्वयं ही पूजित हो जाते हैं। पीपल का वृक्ष लगाने वाले की वंश परम्परा कभी विनष्ट नहीं होती। पीपल की सेवा करने वाले सद्गति प्राप्त करते हैं।

शुभ कार्यों में उपयोगी पीपल की पत्तियां

   सावित्री देवी ने पीपल से सम्बंधित अंधविश्वास को न सिर्फ गलत साबित किया है बल्कि समाज को भी उसे नकारने पर मजबूर किया है। आज सावित्री देवी अपने ग्राम क्वीली और उसके आसपास के क्षेत्रों में अनेक पीपल और वट वृक्ष रोपित कर चुकी हैं। यहाँ तक कि उन्होंने पूरे अनुष्ठान और वैदिक मान्यतानुसार पीपल और वटवृक्ष (बरगद) की शादी भी धूमधाम से करवाई है और समाज को प्रकृति एवं पेड़-पौधों को अंधविश्वास की बेड़ियों में जकड़ने के बजाय उनसे प्रेम करने और उनके प्रति अपने दायित्वों का निर्वहन करने का संदेश दिया है। सावित्री पर्यावरण के प्रति बेहद संवेदनशील हैं और वे अपने द्वारा लगाए गए पौधों को भी अपने बच्चों की तरह पालती हैं। वह हमेशा रोपित पौधों को जल, खाद, गाय का दूध और आवश्यक तत्वों को देने के लिए जाती हैं। आज से कुछ वर्ष पहले की बात है, जब सावित्री देवी ने पीपल के वृक्ष का रोपण किया और उसकी देखभाल शुरू की। प्रारम्भ में तो पौधे की वृद्धि सामान्य थी किन्तु अचानक पौधा कमजोर हो गया और अपने जीवन के अंतिम काल में प्रवेश करने लगा। सभी प्रयोग करने के बाद भी जब पीपल का पौधा स्वस्थ न हो सका तो सावित्री देवी ने अपने कुलब्राह्मणों से इसकी वजह जाननी चाही। निवारण के रूप में ब्राह्मण ने कहा कि "पीपल के वृक्ष की जड़ों में दूध प्रवाहित करने से पीपल का पौधा कभी मृत नहीं हो सकता" । तब सावित्री देवी ने जब तक घर में दूध देने वाली गाय रही, तब तक पीपल की जड़ों में गाय का दूध प्रवाहित कर उस वृक्ष को जीवित रखने में सफलता पाई।

   गौरतलब है कि प्रकृति समस्त जीवों के जीवन का मूल आधार है। प्रकृति का संरक्षण एवं संवर्धन जीव जगत के लिए बेहद ही अनिवार्य है। प्रकृति पर ही पर्यावरण निर्भर करता है। यदि प्रकृति समृद्ध एवं सन्तुलित होगी तो पर्यावरण भी अच्छा होगा और मौसम भी समयानुकूल सन्तुलित रहेगा। प्राकृतिक आपदाओं से बचने और पर्यावरण को शुद्ध बनाने के लिए पेड़ों का होना बहुत जरूरी है। पुराणों में स्पष्ट तौर पर लिखा है कि एक पेड़ लगाने से उतना ही पुण्य मिलता है, जितना कि दस गुणवान पुत्रों से यश की प्राप्ति होती है। इसलिए, जिस प्रकार हम अपने बच्चों की परवरिश बड़ी तन्मयता से करते हैं, उसी तन्मयता से हमें सावित्री देवी के व्यक्तित्व से सीख लेकर जीवन में पेड़-पौधों को भी अपने बच्चों के समान प्रेम करना चाहिए। बेशक हममें सावित्री देवी की तरह पुण्यात्मा नहीं है लेकिन तब भी हमें पेड़ लगाकर पुण्य हासिल करने का प्रयत्न करना चाहिए।

   श्रीमती सावित्री देवी को "रुद्र गौरव सम्मान 2018" से सम्मानित किया गया है। यह उन सभी प्रकृति प्रेमियों का सम्मान है जो निरंतर प्रकृति की चिंता कर उसे संरक्षित करने का प्रयास कर रहे हैं।

   Mrs. Savitri Devi is a resident of Gram Quilli under Tallanagpur area in Uttarakhand's Rudraprayag district. Having a sweet word in behavior and softness in the throat, it is a brief introduction to face smiles all the time.
It is said that many obstacles arise in the path of truth which runs on the path of truth but ultimately victory is of the same. Some similar obstacles also took place in the path of Savitri Devi, when they decided that they had to plant the Peepal tree (Ficus religiosain) the forest of their village. Then they would not have thought that planting a peepal tree would prove costly to their social status and many things would be spoken for them in society. Since Mrs. Savitri Devi was from the family and was the mother of two promising children, hence this social evil; Due to the fact that "Those who have children, do not planting peepal, which means that they are sonless , they planting a tree of Peepal", because of which the society put question marks on them and their work ethics. Savitri, determined by heart, took refuge in the elderly by not accepting the neighbors and the things of the society. But in the elderly, this superstition was full of decaying, 'People impose only what is childless.' Eventually, he kept his sorrow in front of the youth and the people who started the Navchatna. Young people are change-tuned as soon as they are. The youth not only encouraged Savitri Devi to perform this sacred work but also supported her in this work.
   In Indian culture, Peepal has been given the name of Devvriksha. At the touch of its sattvik effect, the consciousness is palpated and swell. It is described in the Scandapurana that Vishnu in the origin of Peepal, Keshava in the stem, Narayan in the branches, Shree Hari in the leaves and Achyut always live with all the gods in the fruit. Peepal is a living and completely idiomatic form of Lord Vishnu. Lord Krishna says in his sermon that in all the trees I am the tree of Peepal. God himself has expressed his divinity and divinity by giving up his likeness to Peepal. It is mentioned in the scriptures that the worship of Peepal is worshiped by the entire God himself. Peepal tree planter's lineage tradition is never destroyed. Peepal's service providers receive goodwill.
   Savitri Devi has not only proved superstition related to Peepal but has also forced society to refuse it. Today, Savitri Devi has planted several yellow and white trees in her village Quilii and its surroundings. Even so, they have arranged the marriage of peepal and Vatvriksha (banyan) in full ritual and Vedic beliefs, and instead of nurturing the nature and tree plants in the boats of superstitions instead of loving them and discharging their responsibilities towards them. Message is delivered. Savitri is very sensitive to the environment and they keep the plants planted by them like their own children. He always goes to give planted plants water, fertilizers, cow's milk and essential elements. It is a few years ago today, when Savitri Devi planted Pepal's tree and started taking care of it. Initially, the growth of the plant was normal but suddenly the plant became weak and started entering the last period of his life. Even after all the experiments, when Peepal's plant could not be healthy, Savitri Devi wanted to know the reasons for her celibinals. In the form of the prevention, the Brahmin said that "Peepal Plant Can Never Be Dead By Streaming Milk in the roots of Peepal tree". Then Savitri Devi was able to keep the tree alive by feeding cow's milk in the roots of Peepal till it was giving milk in the house.
   Significantly, nature is the basis of the life of all living beings. Conservation and promotion of nature is absolutely essential for the world. Environment depends only on nature. If nature is prosperous and balanced, then the environment will also be good and the weather will also be adjusted in a timely manner. It is important to have trees to avoid natural disasters and to make the environment pure. It is clearly written in the Puranas that by applying a tree, virtue is attained, as is the achievement of ten virtuous sons. Therefore, the way we raise our children with great dignity, by the same grandeur, we should learn to love our children as well as plant plants in our lives by learning from the personality of Savitri Devi. Of course, we are not as virtuous as Savitri Devi, but even then we should try to achieve virtue by planting trees.
